College Placement

Nashua Community College uses multiple measures, including placement testing, to determine appropriate course and/or program placement. Placement testing may be waived based on high school GPA, transfer credits, and standardized test scores (SAT, AP or ATI TEAS). If placement testing is required, the student may be required to complete placement testing prior to course registration. Contact Admissions for course placement information.

To support students whose college placement indicates the need for preparatory instruction, NCC partners with the Adult Learning Center (ALC) to offer preparatory coursework through the College Transitions Program on the NCC campus.
