Math and English Placement Policies

Students who do not place directly into college-level Mathematics or English courses are required to enroll in the corresponding Co‑Requisite Workshop.

These workshops are designed to support student success by providing targeted academic assistance alongside the college-level course. Each workshop meets for two hours per week and offers instruction that aligns directly with the course curriculum, as well as additional tutorial support using a variety of methods and materials.

To ensure the best opportunity for success, regular attendance is essential. Students are expected to follow all workshop attendance requirements.

If a student exceeds the allowed number of absences, the student will receive an AF grade in the associated college-level course.
