General Admissions Requirements

  1. Applicants must submit an application for Admission at: nashuacc.edu/admissions/online-application. Students enrolling in a program must attest that they have or will be graduating from an approved high school, or have earned a state-recognized high school equivalency credential (such as the GED or HiSET or home school program) prior to enrollment. The College may request documentation to verify high school completion.
  2. Placement is required for all programs. Nashua Community College utilizes the Placement Survey to assist students in determining appropriate course placement and encourages all applicants to complete the survey, regardless of program.

Prior college-level coursework, Advanced Placement (AP) credits, CLEP examination scores in English or mathematics, or SAT scores that meet established minimum requirements may satisfy placement requirements.

Students who indicate that English is not their first language may be required to complete additional assessment measures to ensure appropriate placement.

  3. Transfer students may submit official transcripts of all previous college work. Courses successfully completed prior to admission will be considered for transfer.
