Reasonable Classroom Accommodations - Letter of Accommodations (LOA)

Students with a documented disability, or students who suspect they have a disability that affects their learning, may contact the Accessibility Services Coordinator to request reasonable college level accommodations.

To receive accommodations, a student must meet the eligibility requirements established through the formal accommodation request process. Instructions for the process, the Student Accommodation Request Form, and information about required supporting documentation are available on the Accessibility at NCC webpage

To utilize classroom accommodations, students are required to submit a Semester Request in Accommodate each semester they want to use accommodations. Once the request is submitted and processed a notification email is sent to the student and the selected professors stating that the Letter of Accommodations is ready for review.

Accommodations will not be provided until the student submits a Semester Request for the current semester. Accommodations are not retroactive and begin when the Semester Request is processed in Accommodate.  Students are advised to follow up directly with each professor to discuss their Letter of Accommodations.
