Solomon Amendment

The Solomon Amendment requires institutions to provide directory-type information on students at least 17 years of age upon request of representatives of the Department of Defense for military recruiting purposes. The information to provide includes; names, addresses, telephone listings, date and place of birth, levels of education, academic majors, degrees received and the most recent educational institution enrolled in by the students.
