Student Support

Nashua Community College provides comprehensive support for students navigating a range of personal, emotional, and practical challenges. Whether students are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, low motivation, or significant life changes such as trauma or grief, supportive services are available to help them remain engaged and successful. Assistance is also offered for students managing family or relationship pressures, caregiving responsibilities, and housing, food, or financial insecurity, ensuring that basic needs do not become a barrier to academic progress.

Our Student Support services include individualized coaching, emotional support, short‑term counseling, and crisis intervention. Staff members offer referrals to mental health providers, help students connect with community resources, and provide advocacy with professors and campus personnel when additional academic understanding is needed. These services are designed to promote student well‑being, foster resilience, and help each student thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Full a complete list of services on-campus and in the community, visit the Basic Needs Resources page on the NCC website.
