Students may be granted transfer credit for coursework completed at an accredited postsecondary institution when the coursework is determined to be comparable in content, level, and learning outcomes to courses offered by the College and a grade of C (2.0) or higher has been earned, unless a program requires a higher grade.
Students seeking transfer credit must submit:
- An official transcript from the institution where the coursework was completed; and
- If requested by the College, additional documentation such as course descriptions, syllabi, or other materials necessary to evaluate course equivalency
The College will evaluate transfer coursework and determine the applicability of accepted credits toward the student's program of study. Transfer credit evaluations are conducted by the student's assigned academic advisor. When necessary, additional review and approval may be required from the program coordinator, department chair, or designee.
